Nigeria Labour Congress and the Ovia North East Farmers are partners


At this point, it is very clear that no one will be able to dispute the fact that farmers from Ovia North East are not the serious type. This is directed to the fact that because they are professional farmers and that they want to showcase their area of specialty, the requested from the Edo State government through the Ministry of environment recently, a piece of land for their farming program for the 2012 – 2013.
To this end, a land space of 100 Hectares was allocated to these faithful and very zealous farmers of the local government area.  To succeed in this venture of assisting the government to create jobs for the teeming Edo people which have been thrown into the labour market because of the lack of care and concern for these person by the previous government that has govern Edo State, in recent time.
This ongoing government of the people’s governor “the Comrade Adams Oshiomhole’s” government has promised the farmers in Edo State that life will never remain de-same for them as far as they have the believe that they can male their lives what they want to be through farming, if they are assisted by the government.
